Alex's first birthday party

So we had Alex's one year birthday party this weekend. WOW. There were a lot of people and kiddos there. It was a great time and I felt like everyone I loved was in my house all at once.

SO may pictures! The ones I am posting now are just from my camera. I saw many more good ones AND my Dad took tons of video so I hope to grab that from him as well.

I tried posting these in chronological order as best I can!

Party started pretty mellow. Just hanging out and saying hi.

Mom and I LOVE to play rough.

Yes, that is dirt in my mouth. I eat it. I love it. Deal with it.

Uncle J and Meena gave me the coolest radio flyer rocket to ride on it. I can't stop playing with it!

Alex took to this rocket pretty quickly!

My Dad built Alex his first toy chest!
Opening presents started out just fine......

I loved my new swimming pool!

Got some new books................

Then I decided this wasn't as fun as I thought. In fact, I want out.

Oh Geez. What now? I just sat still for an hour opening presents I didn't even get to play with!

I don't think I'm liking this. It's a bit chilly.....

No wait. Stop. I don't like this. Why are you laughing? No really, why are you laughing. Stop. Pick me up!

WHHHHYY?!? WHHHHHYYYYYYYYYY? Please stop. PLEASE STOP.
(Never at one point did he enjoy his cake. I wouldn't be surprised if he runs at the site of a cake from now on)

Luke sat very still so I could "make him pretty"

I love my truck! LOVE IT! Like the rocket!

Thanks everyone for coming. We felt very blessed and loved. Just you showing up means more to me than you know. I hope to get photos and video from other people's camera soon!

Love you lots!

Wow, can you believe he is one? Aaron just turned a year as well! Alex is a doll! I was amazed to see that Alex got the same fire car/truck that Aaron did. I couldn't find one forever and then all of a sudden I found the one he got on ebay! Aaron loves it, he plays with it all day everyday! Take care!
